Worse performance than Grow Home?
I´m running it on a
i5 3570k &
AMD HD7970
at 1080p

Grow Home ran at 60fps without any problems. In Grow Up I´m getting 45-50.

Is there any thing I can do on my side to improve it and will there be a performance patch?

im running on a
i7-6700HQ
GeForce GTX 970M
at 1080p

and its chugging like hell here too. Even if I turn down the settings, its still lagging to hell. I skipped the intro cutscene because it was lagging so hard that the music and sound all finished well before the cutscene had.
Have you tried fiddling with the v-sync settings?
The framerate is worse, yes, but that's to be expected due to the world being much larger. I'm still getting above 70 fps in the most demanding areas but I saw some others having issues as well.
So I updated my drivers and now it's running mostly at 60. When I go into the top down overview it still dips to 50, but it's playable now. Still hope they patch to the performance a bit.
i have the same problems, i search for new driver but there's no update.
i'm running on a i7-6700HQ
2.60 GHz
GeForce GTX 960M
with graphic setting maximum i run it 15 fps
Exactly the same that #4 !

I have to play with low quality and low resolution, it's totaly ruinning the game for me :steamsad: .
Sorry to see these problems, but glad that some of you have found ways to improve performance.

M'pepe is right - Grow Up is a far, FAR bigger world than Grow Home, so yes it will be harder to get the same performance. We have worked very hard to optimise such a detailed world full of physical toy plants.

Assuming that your PC specs fall within our recommendations, then like Fana7ic we suggest that you update your drivers and also double check that you have nothing else running in the background.
I have a I5 4690K + GTX 750 TI and never reached 60 fps :c

Anyways the update works and the Fps are more stable now
I´m glad about the boost of fps after the driver update (I´m on 16.7.3 AMD drivers now) but it´s still not running great.
You state a AMD Radeon HD 7870 under your recommended hardware config. That´s an older card than the one I´m using ( HD7970).

If I´m within the recommended settings or above, I expect a game to run at a stable 60fps which Grow up isn´t.

I´m really hoping that you´ll take care of this and figure something out. It seems to me like you took the engine from Grow Home and added a lot bigger world with more objects which the engine wasn´t optimized for. That´s too bad because I really like the game and want to enjoy it, but fluctuating fps are so annoying.
Grow home played at 30 FPS for me and Grow up plays at 2 FPS and i cant play it and i have no idea why...

Hey, perhaps we could help if you share you PC specs?
On my GT 740 i played grow home at 60fps on high with no issues and i cant even reach 30 on low in grow up
I have more or less OP's set up and the game is just molasses at the moment, but I discovered I have a driver update waiting, so we'll see how that goes.

Edit: Success!
Updating drivers FTW! Great news ElysianMeadows :D
