White Screen W11
Hi y'all
I really hope you can help me with this. A friend of mine just bought me this game but, for some kind of reason when I try to launch it, the game just freezes on a white screen. I've tried to run it as an admin and exactly the same problem.
My PC is an i7 with a 3070ti W11 home.

Sorry no one got back to you in so long. I think this game is truly amazing and first played it a few years ago. I have bought it for friends as a gift during past Steam sales. I was about to replay it when I had the same problem as you. I couldn’t find a fix online. It’s a ‘labor of love’ indy game by a brilliant solo developer who has probably moved on, so I don’t fault him at all.

I am on a Windows 11 MSI laptop with an RTX 3050 and an integrated graphics system for power efficiency. It turns out Windows was forcing the game into running on the integrated graphics, which led to my white screen. If you also have integrated graphics, this could be the culprit.

For good measure, in File Explorer, I right-clicked Iconoclasts.exe and selected PROPERTIES >> chose the COMPATIBILITY tab >> and checked the box for RUN THIS PROGRAM IN COMPATIBILITY MODE FOR: >> and I selected WINDOWS 8. I'm honestly not sure if this step I necessary, but "needs must," right?

Good luck with getting it to work and thank your friend who purchased it for you. I wish I had more friends like that.

Both things doesn't work for me neither, one make the white screen and stop running, and the other open the white screen and close it after a few seconds, I don't know what to do...
