Are you logged into Steam?

If so, can you go here and tell us if you see some sav files and a user ID folder:

C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Doublefine\Headlander\76561198084877595

The sav files need to be inside that user ID folder. It would save them outside the folder if you weren't logged into Steam.

I lost my save at exactly the same point. It reset everything to 1% t and put me in the crashed pod room aftert he tutorial. On top of that the tutorial limitation of being unable to detach head from body were still active, so i couldnt exit the escape pod at all. Save slot 1 is still corrupted for that matter, had to start all over.

This happened to me too. It seemed to be related to an update shortly after launch. I was about 2 hours in, then my save got lost. I just restarted, but this time, none of the achievements worked, despite 100%'ing the game. I don't mind though. Love the game and that gives me an excuse to replay it.

This happened to me too.I met the rebellion, defended the base, then right after, I died in head form and got a infinite loading screen. Then when i quit the game and reopened it I had my save gone.

Same problem

I never found a fix for it :( Started all over and enjoyed the game nonetheless.

Hola , tengo el mismo problema .. Nunca lo solucionaste? Estuve jugando un poco pero de un momento a otro mi partida se perdio y cada vez que inicio el juego me dice que esta version del juego no esta disponible el save data .. Obviamente esto ha pasado 1 año despues de tu problema, seguro han pasado varias actualizaciones ...
