F1 2015
Xbox 360/One Controller issues
Full list of controller issues (for me):
Menus are all messed up, the A,B,X and Y buttons decide to change their purpose. Example B is A and In flashbacks A is X.
Accelerating and braking is impossible in xbox controller input mode, you have to remap them in custom. The car just sits on the track.
Cars are far too sensitive.
Pressing any camara button jerks the car into a random direction.
Car jerks around on its own.Gamebreaking.
Worst of all, the car is perpetualy turned left slightly. Cant control the car. Game breaking.

Braking assist:off
ABS:on
TC:off
Manual and suggested gears.

Dont gets me started on the graphical glitches. I hope Bugmasters get their head out of their asses and fix this game. So very dissapointed looking at gameplay from Console youtubers. If any of you know any fixes for any of these problems, please post.

xbox 360 controller works fine for me on standard settings. the problem is sitting in front of the computer in 2/3 of all cases here. stop complaining and get decent hardware.
Um,I dont know what you mean by getting better hardware. Im running on max at 55-60fps and im using a week old Xbox one controller, i also tried on my old 360 controller and the same thing happened. Stop assuming, plenty of other people have similar problems.
imo you cannot keep the car on the track even with the easiest settings. the handling is good. what different reason can be there when it's working for me with the same controllers? your hardware doesn't seem to work properly or you are not able to play that game by skill. if it's the game i would've the same issues. i don't have.
Everything I said above are glitches and bugs, except the sesitivity part. Is it becasue im reall bad that the car is turned to the left, no. Is it my fault that the car steers violently to the right or left becasue i want to change camara. There are load s of people in the forums complaining about these things. If we dont complain, codies wont change a thing. Maybe you have been lucky but I havent so stop abstructing the improvement of the game. My hardware does work correctly as I play every other game that requires an xbox one controller fine.
Do not mess around with the custom settings, it automatically seems to set lower deadzone on steering which is why your car keeps steering left and right on its own.

Stay on standard settings and if you want to remap your keys and such go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\F1 2015\actionmaps" and edit the "action_map_preset_win" file using notepad.

The xbox controller settings are all the way down under the <ActionMap actionMapName="xi_Preset1" line.

If you have deadzone issues even on the standard settings you can fix that there as well, switch it from 0.2 to 0.3 for steering or from 0.0 to 0.1 for accelerating and braking etc. Although I'm not too sure if this last part does take effect in game the way it should or not.
Thanks man, hope it helps.
How do I remap the keys in the notepad, Ive already done the deadzones.
Did the dead zone remap worked for you? I am having the same issue regarding the xbox 360 controller sensitivity.
i havent been able to accelerate using standard, I dont understand how to change the inputs. Looking bleak.
i'm using the tool "xpadder". you can map the controller buttons and also config the deadzone...
hope it helps

I´m using Xbox360ce , and in the middle of the game the controls change , making the game unplaylable... Does Xpadder do the trick in this game?
This weekeng I reinstalled the game and the issue with the controller got solved by creating custom controller profile, but not altering the left and right settings. The problem is that, everytime you start the game you got create a new profile (over the old one) again to prevent the car from pulling left.

Nah men I solved that but today I started the game and the controls were again ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up , like A and B did the same thing selecting in the menu and the car in-game just revs up
Played with xbox 360 controller not edited any settings and it works fine here 2 races into pro season.

Its the xbox controller bug, same with me, theres a work around that bug:

Before starting the game, unplug the controller from your pc, then start the game.
when the game loads and you hear the "welcome to formula one" you can plug the controller back in.
and thats it, it will fix the car not moving problem and the menus mess.
you wont be able to adjust sensitivity on your controller still, tho
this workaround fix will do untill they adress this issue in (hopefully) the next patch.
