About Chapter 2
For a moment, everything feels normal again.
Your family is together. The house is quiet. Matilda is safe.
Then something calls from the woods.

And then they disappear.

You are left alone in the house.
The phone rings.
It is not your father.

The thing from the first night has returned.
This time, it has taken your whole family.
And it wants you to listen.

Hidden inside an old letter is the truth about the spirit that has haunted these woods for generations.
When it takes a family, a broken doll appears somewhere in the forest.
Only the child left behind can see its pieces.
Find the pieces before your family is gone forever.

Can you bring them back?
The doll saved Matilda once.
Now it may be the only thing that can save your family.
But first, you have to survive the woods.

I havent played the game yet, but deleting negative comments isnt a really good look..
Reposting because my feedback was deleted. The game felt very underdone and like filler. The story didn't make sense from a 5 year olds perspective, instead they kinda act like he's a teenager. The pieces were very easy to find. Entire game felt very rushed and undercooked, with the music being less exciting and the area you're in feeling like the trees and grass were copy pasted. For a game you're trying to get a goal of 500 for, id hope to see more effort and time put into this.
You’re right to call that out. I removed the first comment too quickly because I took it personally, and that was a mistake.
I’m still learning and improving as a developer, and I do appreciate honest criticism even when it’s hard to read. I may not agree with every point, but I’ll take the feedback on board for future games. Sorry for deleting your original comment.
I understand that its your work, but please don't take it personally. These are just points to improve, I commented because I care and wanna see your future stuff. I commented because I genuinely felt it was rushed and not good quality. We can agree to disagree. Take it from someone who plays indie horror games every day for youtube - its not personal and I'm not attacking you. Just want to see you grow and do great. Thank you for acknowledging that it wasn't right.
Chapter 2 was definitely a bit weaker than chapter 1 but still enjoyable. If there is gonna be a chapter 3, I hope that it'll have a new fun twist to the game mechanic and not the exact same thing again. Chapter 1 and 2 are included in my video :)
Game for Kids, Family Game❤️🥰😍
They're also deleting negative feedback so
Chapter 2 was awesome! Can't wait for chapter 3
and so we are back.... this one was a lot easier for me than the first but still cool!
WHAT A PLOT TWIST!!!! LOVE YOUR GAME!! I WISH CAN PLAY IT LONGER
Great game, can't wait for more chapters!
Chapter 2 felt like a step backwards in terms of scariness sadly. Although the monster design is amazing, the tenseness that made the first chapter so good (chase music, pure panic moments etc.) seemed to have disappeared completely! and the when you get caught, it feels underwhelming. Still, I look forward to chapter 3.
Agreed. Way underwhelming.
Excellent chapter 2
yooo any way I can purchase the game with a debit card i don't have PayPal
POV: You walked out the night and you somehow see it in your eyes
Peak storyline btw
Chapter 3: Matilda in your dreams
yo bro slow down with development 😅 we might die from a heart attack from peak overload
HOW MANY CHAPTERS ARE YOU MAKING?
FIRE GAME
