Gush is licensed AGPL. The self-description on the repo page says;

"Federated social media platform revolving around discussion of things including but possibly not limited to: games, books, movie

It appears to have existed for less than a year. Not sure if there is a functional flagship instance yet, let alone at least one independent instance. Which is usually a prerequisite for adding new software to the site. But this definitely needs adding to the AP watchlist on the wiki.

I got a reply from the Gush dev, @Tak@gush.taks.garden. He said he's not aware of any independent instances yet, but confirmed there is a functioning flagship server at;

Seems like he's still in rapid prototyping mode.
